The North American Hockey League, in conjunction with the USA Hockey National Team Development program, will conduct a symposium titled American Development Model during this month's NAHL Showcase Tournament/NAHL Future Prospects Tournament.
The symposium, which will be held on Friday, September 19, at 8 p.m. in the National Sports Center's main conference room (next to the Schwan Super Rink), will address the options U.S. amateur players have in today's hockey landscape with an emphasis on domestic development options.
Tim Taylor, head coach of the 1994 U.S. Olympic Team and current NTDP assistant coach, will conduct a presentation, with a question-and-answer session to follow with Taylor and NTDP director of player personnel Ryan Rezmierski.
There is no charge to attend the symposium, and players and parents of all ages are encouraged to attend.
